Shipping Policy

At LuminaCanvas, every painting is handcrafted to order and carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. This Shipping Policy explains how production, preview approval, shipping, tracking, and customs fees work for your order.

1. Shipping Coverage & Cost

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders.

For U.S. deliveries, shipping and tariffs are included in your order price, so you should not be charged additional shipping or tariff fees upon delivery.

For deliveries outside the United States, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other local charges may apply depending on your country or region. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.

2. Production & Delivery Timeline

Because each painting is made to order, your order includes both production time and shipping time.

  • Painting time: 6-15 business days
  • Shipping time: 3-7 business days after shipment
  • Estimated total delivery time: approximately 15-25 business days

Actual timing may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork, revision requests, destination country, customs clearance, carrier conditions, weekends, holidays, or events outside our control.

3. Preview Approval Before Shipping

Before shipping, we send you a digital preview of your completed painting for approval.

  • You may request free revisions at this stage.
  • Your painting will not ship until you approve the preview.
  • If we do not receive a response within 48 hours of sending the preview, the painting will be deemed approved and will proceed to shipping.
  • Once approved and shipped, the order can no longer be canceled.

Please review your preview carefully and contact us promptly if you need changes before shipment.

4. Packaging

We pack each painting carefully for international delivery.

  • Rolled Canvas paintings are shipped unframed in a protective tube. We leave an extra 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) on each side for stretching or framing.
  • Stretched Canvas paintings are packed with protective materials and shipped ready to hang.
  • Framed Canvas paintings are packed with additional protection around the frame and corners.

For shipping, most paintings are carefully rolled and packed in durable tubes to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

5. Carriers & Tracking

We ship via trusted international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and TNT. The carrier used for your order may vary depending on your destination, package size, and available shipping routes.

Once your painting has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. Tracking updates may take some time to appear after the carrier first receives the package.

6. Shipping Address

Please make sure your shipping address is accurate and complete before placing your order.

If you need to change your shipping address, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We can update the address only before your order has shipped. Once a package is in transit, address changes may not be available or may be subject to carrier approval.

We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or loss caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.

7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For U.S. customers, shipping and tariffs are fully included.

For customers in other countries, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other local charges may be collected by the carrier or local customs authority before or upon delivery. These charges are not controlled by LuminaCanvas and are the buyer's responsibility.

Customs processing may also extend the delivery timeline. We cannot guarantee customs clearance times.

8. Delays

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Shipping may be delayed due to:

  • Artwork complexity or revision requests
  • High order volume
  • Carrier delays
  • Customs clearance
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information
  • Weather, holidays, local delivery disruptions, or other events outside our control

If your tracking has not updated for an unusual period of time, please contact us and we will help check the shipment status with the carrier.

9. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at [email protected]. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will repaint and reship your order free of charge.

If your painting arrives damaged, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged artwork
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A photo of the shipping label

We will review the issue and arrange a replacement or refund according to our Refund & Return Policy.
