Orders & Production

How long does it take to receive my painting?

Each painting is handcrafted to order, so please allow some time for production and delivery:

  • Painting time: 6–15 business days
  • Shipping time: 3–7 business days
  • Total delivery time: approximately 15–25 business days

Actual timing may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork and your location.

Are these real paintings or prints?

All artworks from LuminaCanvas are 100% hand-painted by professional artists using premium oil or acrylic paints on canvas. We do not sell prints.

Will the painting I receive look exactly like the image on the website?

Because each piece is entirely hand-painted, slight variations in brushwork and detail are natural and expected. Before shipping, we send you a digital preview for your approval. You can request free revisions at this stage until you are fully satisfied.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

There may be slight color differences between what you see on screen and the actual painting, as monitor settings and display technologies vary. Our preview and approval process helps minimize surprises — you will see a photo of your completed painting before it ships, and you can request adjustments if needed.

How will I receive the preview of my painting?

Once your painting is complete, we will send high-resolution photos to your email for review. If you prefer, you can also receive previews and communicate revisions via our live chat — just let us know. If we don't hear back within 48 hours, the painting will be considered approved and shipped.

Can I customize the size or design?

Yes! We accept custom orders — you can request a specific size or send us reference images, and our artists will create a personalized piece just for you. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your needs.

Will the painting be cropped if I choose a different size?
If the size you select has a different aspect ratio from the original reference, the composition may be slightly adjusted or cropped to fit. You can switch sizes on the product page to preview how the painting looks at each option before ordering.
Can I request changes to the painting content?

Yes. We can modify colors, adjust or remove elements, change backgrounds, and more. Simply describe your requirements when placing your order or contact us at [email protected] — our artists will work with you to get it right.

Are there any restrictions on custom orders?
We welcome custom requests such as personal portraits, pet paintings, family photos, and original landscapes. However, we cannot accept requests to reproduce copyrighted characters, branded logos, or other protected intellectual property. Please ensure that any reference images you provide do not infringe on third-party rights.
What is the maximum size you can produce?

For very large or non-standard sizes, please contact us at [email protected] and we will evaluate your request and provide a quote.

Will the artist sign the painting?

By default, our paintings are not signed. If you would like the artist to sign the painting, simply let us know in your order notes and specify where you'd like the signature placed.

Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at any time before you approve the preview for a full refund. Once the preview is approved and the painting has shipped, cancellation is no longer available — please see our Return & Refund Policy for details.

Product Options

What is the difference between Rolled Canvas, Stretched Canvas, and Framed Canvas?
  • Rolled Canvas — the painting is shipped unframed in a protective tube. We leave an extra 2–3 inches (5–8 cm) on each side for easy stretching or framing at your local frame shop.
  • Stretched Canvas — the painting is mounted on sturdy stretcher bars, ready to hang right out of the box. The edges of the stretcher bars are white.
  • Framed Canvas — a stretched canvas with a decorative frame. Available in black, white, gold, and silver.
Is the painting ready to hang when it arrives?

Stretched Canvas and Framed Canvas arrive ready to hang — no additional work needed. Rolled Canvas requires stretching or framing before hanging. We recommend taking it to a local frame shop, as professional framing ensures the best result.

Can I request a frame style or color not listed?

Please contact us — we may be able to accommodate special framing requests.

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. For U.S. deliveries, both shipping and tariffs are included — no extra fees at your door.

Which carriers do you use?

We ship via trusted international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and TNT.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your painting has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery in real time.

Do I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

For U.S. customers, shipping and tariffs are fully included — you will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery. For customers in other countries, customs duties or import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer, as determined by your local customs authority.

What if my package is lost during shipping?

If your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will repaint and reship your order free of charge.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return my painting?
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, rolled canvas orders may be returned within 30 days of delivery if the item arrived damaged, defective, or significantly different from the approved preview. Framed and stretched canvas orders are not eligible for return. Please see our full Return & Refund Policy for details.
What if my painting arrives damaged?

Please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery with clear photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Actual timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through PayPal, which supports all major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely — we never store your payment information.

Is it safe to order online?

Yes. All payments are processed through PayPal, a trusted and secure payment platform. We never have access to your credit card or bank account details. Your personal information is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Do you accept bulk or wholesale orders?

Care & Maintenance

How long will my oil painting last?

Oil paintings are one of the most durable art forms. With proper care, your painting can last for decades or even generations. We use professional-grade oil paints and high-quality canvas to ensure long-lasting color and durability.

How should I care for my oil painting?
  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading over time.
  • Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use chemical cleaners or water on the painting surface.
  • Avoid hanging in extremely humid environments (e.g., bathrooms with poor ventilation).
Can I hang an oil painting in a humid room?

We recommend avoiding areas with high moisture or poor ventilation. Moderate humidity is generally fine, but prolonged exposure may affect the paint and canvas over time.
