Product Series
Measured Heat explores the tension between ordered structure and raw material energy. Across the series, broad orange and vermilion planes meet pale fields of ivory, cool gray, and white, creating compositions that feel architectural without becoming rigid. Rectangular forms overlap, stop short, or pass through one another, while narrow dark lines and exposed edges introduce a sense of interruption and movement. The palette is direct and concentrated: warm reds carry visual weight, and the cooler ground gives each painting room to breathe. Scraped passages, dry-brushed marks, uneven borders, and visible pigment variation keep the geometry connected to the hand that made it. These surfaces suggest weathered walls or constructed fragments, but remain deliberately nonrepresentational. Each work shares the series’ measured language of blocks, gaps, and crossings while developing its own balance of mass and negative space. Together, the paintings bring a strong contemporary presence to living rooms, entryways, offices, and other interiors shaped by modern restraint.
