The eye travels down the slim taupe form at upper right before reaching the heavier rust shape below. "The Long Strip" sets these unequal proportions within broad sand and cream compartments, leaving much of the canvas light and open.

A rounded ivory passage runs through the middle and curves inward near the base. On the left, a wider gray-taupe shape turns into the pale ground; on the right, charcoal behind the rust block concentrates the darkest contrast.

As hand-painted oil on canvas, the surface shifts between fine woven texture and raised paint. Overlapping strokes collect within the central ivory form, while the larger neutral areas carry lighter, flatter marks that let the geometry remain legible.

The generous cream fields suit a warm entryway or a living room with natural wood. Its narrow upper accent adds vertical movement above a low cabinet, while the earthy lower corner provides a steady visual base.

The Series

Turning Planes

Turning Planes brings broad curves into the measured divisions of a grid. Arcs, rounded corners, and upright blocks meet in arrangements that suggest architectural fragments without resolving into a literal building. Pale bands turn around darker forms, carrying the eye between vertical passages and sweeping bends.\n\nIvory and warm sand establish a light, open framework, while taupe and brown soften the transitions. Rust and burnt orange add warmth; charcoal and near-black lend weight to selected compartments. The balance shifts from painting to painting, allowing each composition its own center of gravity within a shared palette.\n\nThe oil surfaces alternate between dense, raised ivory passages and thinner fields where the canvas weave remains visible. Broad curved strokes follow the contours, while overlapping marks and uneven ridges interrupt the geometry with a tactile rhythm. These contrasts give the series a grounded, sculptural presence. Seen together, the works form a set of related variations on structure and movement, suited to contemporary spaces with natural wood, linen, and warm neutral finishes.

The Hand-Painted Difference

A print decorates. A painting transforms.

A print fills a space. A hand-painted oil painting brings it to life with real brushstrokes, rich texture, and a presence you can see and feel.

Choose artwork crafted by human hands — made to be treasured for years, not replaced with the next trend.

A home that feels like you More than decoration
Choose artwork that reflects your style and gives your space warmth, personality, and lasting character.
A gift that lasts Remembered long after it's opened
Flowers wilt. Gift cards expire, a hand-painted oil painting becomes part of someone's home for years to come.
One painting. One original. No two are exactly alike
Painted stroke by stroke by a skilled artist, every piece carries its own brushwork, layers, and human touch - something no print can copy.
Real oil paint Texture you can actually see
Layered brushstrokes create depth and dimension you can see up close - a richness printed artwork simply can't reproduce.
